Ddraunara means "dragon's tail" in Sicilian dialect.

It is an ancient word used by the fishermen to indicate a strong, sudden stormy wind: in their imagination, it was caused by the flick of a dragon’s tail.

Ddraunara Studio is a creative production company based in Torino. We love to play with the magic of animation, from the idea to the final movie. We tell stories that are part of ourselves. Stories that keep us grounded as roots, but travel through us just like the wind.

And the wind will always lead us towards new stories.
